The Salary for the role is €42k + Benefits.Key to the role is component level troubleshooting experience.Shifts for this role are 07:00 - 15:30 and 15:00 - 23:30 (Mon - Fri week on week off) (shift allowance of up to 20% will apply).OVERTIME is available and is paid up to DOUBLE TIME.Speak with Cormac Spencer on if you have any questions.Salary: €42kBenefits: Bonus, Pension, Healthcare, Subsidised Canteen, Gym, Parking, OvertimeTotal Package: up to €54k + OvertimeResponsibilities:Performing inspection operations on sub-assemblies, modules and systems using engineering drawings, schematics, flow diagrams, specifications and methodologies;Troubleshooting faults down to component level.Preparing samples, reagents and diluents for chemical testing of systems and modules;Establishing causes of malfunction and non-conformance in the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and chemical operation of systems with a minimum loss of test time;Assisting Engineering in the initial validation, installation and verification of new test procedures, equipment and products;Overseeing and checking any repair work that has to be carried out to ensure that the fault is corrected;Working with other departments to solve ongoing problems.Assisting Engineering in the design of test fixtures and modules inspection/test procedures;Completing and maintaining all necessary paperwork, test data etc. for each system/module to ensure that accurate Quality records are available.Working with Quality procedures, relating to material flow, material handling, processing of defective material, acceptance and rejection procedures, ECN monitoring, concessions etc.Awareness of the risks involved i.e. in handling dangerous corrosive or infectious materials adhering to strict safety rules.Training in new personnel.Requirements:2 years' experience in a similar manufacturing environment;Experience as a Test Technician in a mechanical or electrical environment a plus.Related third level qualification QQI Level 6 and aboveExcellent PC SkillsSAP ExperienceFor the opportunity to work with a Market Leader right on your Doorstep, Call Cormac now on Speak to the Experts with the Direct LINK to the Best Test Technician Jobs in DublinLink Personnel
