OverviewConstruction Safety Officer (Renewable Energy)
Responsibilities
Conduct HSE audits and inspections across construction and O&M sites to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Support incident investigations, reporting, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor PPE compliance and contribute to the implementation of the HSE Management System.
Develop and maintain HSE procedures, method statements, safety plans, and emergency response arrangements.
Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training to employees and contractors.
Track and analyze HSE performance indicators, incidents, observations, and inspection data.
Support project teams, contractors, and site management in fostering a strong safety culture across solar construction projects.
Travel regularly to construction sites to provide on-site HSE support and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
1+ year of experience in HSE, construction, or a related field (renewable energy experience is a plus).
NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE qualification.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
Fluent English and full driving license required.
