About the Role
Sheehy Motor Group are seeking an
Experienced Parts Advisor
to join our dynamic Aftersales team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, supporting workshop operations, and maintaining efficient parts supply for both retail and trade customers.
This is a full-time position based in our Carlow dealership.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a high level of customer service to both retail and workshop customers
Assist customers in identifying the correct parts and accessories for their vehicle
Manage incoming parts enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Process parts orders, invoices, and returns accurately and efficiently
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of parts, accessories, and promotions
Ensure stock levels are well managed, monitored, and replenished
Support the workshop team by supplying the correct parts in a timely manner
Handle warranty parts returns in line with manufacturer guidelines
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe parts department
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum
2+ years' experience
as a Parts Advisor in the motor industry (franchise dealership experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of vehicle parts, systems, and terminology
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a busy team
Proficiency in dealer management / parts ordering systems (e.g., Kerridge, ETKA, Autoline, or similar)
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
