Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
o Design, implement, maintain, and manage Azure infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep.
o Automate deployment and configuration processes to ensure consistency, scalability, and security compliance.
2. Cost Optimization:
o Monitor and optimize Azure spending to ensure cost efficiency.
o Implement cost management strategies, including resource tagging.
o Provide regular cost reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
3. Security and Compliance:
o Implement and enforce security best practices across Azure environments, including IAM, network security, and data protection.
o Ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR.
o Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
o Manage and respond to security incidents.
4. Certification and Compliance Management:
o Manage and renew Azure certifications, ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements.
o Maintain documentation for audits and compliance checks.
5. BAU Support and SLA Management:
o Provide operational support, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
o Monitor and maintain SLA levels, respond to incidents promptly.
o Perform root cause analysis and preventive measures.
6. Project Work:
o Lead and contribute to cloud migration, modernization, and innovation projects.
o Collaborate with teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
7. Global Collaboration:
o Work with a global team to share best practices, ensure consistent cloud operations.
Qualifications and Skills
* Essential:
o Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with Azure focus.
o Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
o Experience with Azure cost management and security best practices.
o Familiarity with cybersecurity principles.
o Azure certifications and compliance knowledge.
o Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Desirable:
o Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500, AZ-400).
o Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
o Knowledge of monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
o Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS).
