Job Title:
Fiscal Management Specialist
This role requires a professional with expertise in financial management, capable of overseeing the general ledger and ensuring smooth closing processes.
The ideal candidate will have post-qualification experience in financial services, preferably within a Big Four or similar organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the general ledger and oversee month-end and quarter-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Prepare and review management information, including consolidated financial statements, to provide insights for informed decision-making.
* Lead the statutory audit process, guaranteeing robust balance sheet management and adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Oversee expense reporting, procurement compliance, and tax submissions to ensure transparency and adherence to laws.
* Maintain finance procedures, systems, and strong internal controls to prevent errors and irregularities.
* Supervise a team of professionals to achieve business objectives.
About You:
* You are a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with post-qualification experience in financial services.
* A background in Big Four or similar professional services is highly desirable.
* Experience within the life assurance sector would be advantageous.
* You possess strong technical knowledge of Solvency II and IFRS, excellent analytical skills, and high attention to detail.
* You are proactive, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-evolving business environment.
* You are an excellent communicator and team player with leadership potential.
