This individual will oversee a portfolio of construction and refurbishment projects — including office and apartment fit-outs, flooring installation, groundworks, and renovations — ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.The ideal candidate will be a proactive and highly organised professional with a strong background in construction or project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead teams and coordinate resources across multiple sites and business units.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management: Oversee and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously across the Vardis Group portfolio, from planning through to completion.Operational Oversight: Develop and implement operational processes and systems to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across all business units.Resource Planning: Manage allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials to optimise productivity and cost-effectiveness.Budget & Cost Control: Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure cost control measures are maintained.Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication, alignment, and satisfaction.Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.Reporting: Provide regular progress reports, operational updates, and performance metrics to senior management.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, sustainability initiatives, and process improvements across the group.Key Skills & ExperienceProven experience (5+ years) in operations, construction management, or project management within the construction, property, or fit-out sectors.Strong understanding of building processes, construction methods, and project lifecycle management.Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.Strong commercial and financial acumen; experience managing budgets and contracts.Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of UK building regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental compliance.QualificationsDegree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).Professional certifications (e.g., SMSTS, IOSH, Prince2, or equivalent) are desirable.Full Irish driving licence required.What We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based incentivesOpportunities for professional development and career progression across the Vardis GroupDynamic and collaborative work environmentInvolvement in diverse, high-impact projects across multiple sectors
