That's why we're dedicated to the development of our employees, so that they can reach their career goals.What you can expect in a typical day:The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for advising on occupational health issues and providing emergency medical treatment to employees at Whitegate Refinery.Key Responsibilities:Complete health surveillance assessments ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, Occupational Health Regulations and best practice.Assist in physical examinations and health evaluations for potential applicants.Provide case management for injuries/illnesses to ensure employees receive appropriate care to minimize time away from work.Co-ordinate weekly clinics with the Company Doctor.Administer emergency medical treatment in the case of accident or illness on company premises.Manage work related incidents/accidents.Plan and execute health and wellbeing programmes.Responsible for maintaining medical stock and inventory at the required level.Manage on-site vaccination programmesLiaise with other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.What you'll need to succeed:Proficient in use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Certifications in Irish Heart Foundation BLS Healthcare Provider or PHECC First Aid Responder.Competent in Phlebotomy.Competent in Audiometry and Spirometry an advantage.You will need to be motivated, professionally decisive with strong interpersonal listening skills.Strong team member with proven ability to establish and maintain effective people relationships.Education and experience:Registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses with An Bord Altrana is a requirement.Qualification in Occupational Health or in the process of completing a qualification is an advantage.Post registration experience in industry preferable.Application Process:Please email your CV toRionna.O'by close of business Tuesday 28th October 2025.Irving Oil supports a diverse and inclusive work environment and welcomes applications from all qualified applicants.
