About Woodale Designs
We design, manufacture and install high-end bespoke kitchens and fitted joinery.
You'll run multiple live installations at once and be the link between designers, production, installers and the client.
The role (what you'll own)
Daily check-ins & priorities.
Each morning review all active projects (typically 3–4), confirm what needs site measurements/drawing updates, and respond to internal/client messages within ~30 minutes.
Installer & production coordination.
Keep installers, hand painters and the workshop aligned.
Unblock issues fast; make sure drawings and site readiness match the production pace.
Six-week sign-off.
Ensure every project is fully signed off 6 weeks before install (appliances, handles, accessories).
Confirm with designers that selections are locked.
Ordering at six weeks.
With the Production Manager, confirm all components and accessories are ordered and due on time for manufacture.
Two-week pre-install checks.
2 weeks before install, verify (via site photos and measurements) that electrical points, sockets, plumbing and lighting cables are in the correct locations.
Confirm with office admin that all client payments are received.
Scheduling & programme.
Build and maintain install schedules; book installers, access, parking, cranes/lifts if needed; coordinate with other trades.
Quality & snags.
Set quality expectations on day one, capture snags early, and close them quickly with the right trade.
Handover & documentation.
Produce tidy handovers (care guides, paint colours, hardware lists) and record site notes/variations.
Health & safety.
Ensure Safe Pass compliance, method statements/ramS as needed, and clean, safe sites.
