Procurement Specialist Lead
This is a dynamic opportunity to lead procurement efforts across various indirect categories. As a Procurement Specialist Lead, you will develop and execute category strategies across a broad range of indirect services.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and negotiation skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strategic approach to procurement.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute category strategies across a broad range of indirect services.
* Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives, including supplier analysis, RFPs, contract negotiations, and recommendations.
* Act as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders on market trends, risk, supplier selection, and commercial terms.
* Create and manage outsourcing and commercial models with measurable deliverables and governance frameworks.
* Drive supplier performance through structured scorecards and quarterly business reviews.
* Maintain a strong external focus to identify opportunities and benchmark best practices.
* Propose and lead cost-saving or value-creation initiatives based on spend analysis and category insight.
* Influence internal decision-making by clearly communicating sourcing insights and business impacts.
* Draft and negotiate commercial terms in supplier agreements, ensuring alignment with legal and operational standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing with expertise managing multiple indirect categories.
* Proven track record working with categories such as Financial, Consulting, Legal, and IT Services.
* Experience developing and executing outsourcing and commercial models.
* Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and time zones.
* Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change.
This is an exciting opportunity for an 11-month contract, based in Dublin 2, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2-3 days in the office per week.
