Corporate Solicitor Opportunity at Ethos Engineering
About the Job:
Ethos Engineering is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Solicitor to join our team. As a result of significant growth, we offer excellent opportunities for our growing teams.
This new role will be based in our Dublin office but offers hybrid working options for those located nationally.
The successful candidate will form part of our Senior Leadership team and report directly to our Executive Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise the Group on M&A, general corporate and finance transactions, material commercial contracts and other legal matters.
* Provide pragmatic and commercial legal advice that protects the company's reputation, brands, customers, and shareholders.
* Facilitate the achievement of Ethos objectives and strategy through effective legal counsel.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3+ years PQE of commercial experience in Ireland, UK, and EU or solid experience in corporate and contract law transactions with an international element.
* A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Law from top universities.
* Diploma in Construction Law or relevant experience in the field.
* Strong understanding of EU/Irish laws and regulations, including PDPA, e-commerce, and competition.
* An outstanding communicator and strong people skills are essential.
* The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and manage a varied workload is crucial.
Your Day-to-Day Activities:
* Conduct comprehensive legal analysis of documents, including customer agreements, privacy statements, site terms, and cloud service arrangements.
* Provide expert legal guidance and assistance throughout contract negotiations and finalizations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various departments to address legal concerns related to business operations in different regions.
* Design and implement legal procedures, policies, and practices to manage proceedings, ensuring smooth operations.
* Advise in-house on the legal workstream for corporate and M&A transactions, including due diligence, proofing drafts, and negotiation of transaction documentation.
* Provide legal assistance on financial and restructuring projects.
* Offer pragmatic, commercial, and strategic legal advice to the Group and Divisional Senior Management and Commercial teams.
* Manage external legal resources to ensure comprehensive and cost-efficient legal support to all areas of the Group's business.
* Work with our global team to enhance legal and compliance initiatives, ensuring conformity to applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory bodies.
* Anticipate and respond to new legislation, staying ahead of the curve.
