Assistant Lecturer in Mathematical Sciences (Specified Purpose Pro-Rata) (Reference: 275a/2025)
The School of Mathematics & Statistics is the discipline home for all mathematical sciences disciplines under the new Organisational Design of the University. The disciplines within the School span pure mathematics, applied mathematics, mathematical modelling, numerical and computational methods, applied probability, statistics and data analysis. It has a successful portfolio of mathematics and statistics programmes and delivers mathematics and statistics modules to learners studying other disciplines throughout the University.
Hours of Work
This is a pro-rata post. In addition to teaching hours, attendance is required from Monday to Friday during the general working hours of the School and Faculty.
Location
The post will be based at one of the TU Dublin Campuses i.e. Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Grangegorman, Blanchardstown or Tallaght. Regular attendance at other sites will be required.
Salary
The successful candidate will be appointed at point (01) of the Assistant Lecturer Salary Scale. The salary for this grade is:
* €51,153 - € 63,104 (pro-rata)
* €46,601- € 63,104 (New Entrants) (pro-rata)
Appointments will be made at the appropriate point on the appropriate scale.
