We are currently working with a leading Bank in Ireland to support their growth across their team in Dublin. They are looking to recruit a Senior Manager coming from a Corporate Banking background
Their core business focuses on commercial banking, including corporate banking and financial markets services.
Responsibilities:
* Source and acquire new clients within the market and refer potential clients to other teams/ business segments.
* Meet revenue and quantitative targets such as account growth and fee income ratio.
* Manage the end-to-end execution of transaction proposals, including origination, credit analysis, internal loan approval, and post-loan management.
* Conduct commercial and credit analysis on potential opportunities, including qualitative and quantitative due diligence, financial analysis, and stress testing.
* Assist in the preparation of comprehensive credit applications for internal approval.
* Participate in meetings and conference calls with customers and market participants to facilitate due diligence and ongoing investment monitoring.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners and external market participants.
* Perform proactive and ongoing portfolio monitoring, including timely reviews of financial and performance reports, as well as market trend analysis.
* Support a high-performance culture with strong customer focus and compliance.
* Play a key role in managing the existing loan book and overall loan portfolio from a credit and risk perspective, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
* Perform any other duties assigned by senior management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
* University Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
* At least 5 years of experience in corporate banking.
* 3+ years of experience of credit assessment and credit management ideally in a cashflow lending.
* Advanced report writing skills.
* Proactive, structured, professional, and cooperative approach.
* Familiarity with corporate banking workflows and previous sales experience.
* Strong connections within the local banking network preferred.
Soft Skills:
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
* Negotiation and risk management expertise.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
