We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our engineering team. As Engineering Supervisor, you will play a key role in guiding and developing team members-providing hands-on training, coaching for performance, and ensuring both the quality and output of work remain at a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Actively participate in day-to-day leadership of the business unit, driving engagement activities.
* Coach and mentor the engineering group, providing guidance on technical solutions to operations issues.
* Lead continuous improvement activities, focusing on Lean tools and process improvements.
* IDentify, develop, and implement processes to improve department performance.
You will oversee the development of operational standards to be used in the plant for capacity evaluations, budget planning, and as a basis for operational measures (Key Performance Indicators). This role requires strong communication skills with both internal and external agents, and the ability to facilitate a team of engineers to deliver a specific objective.
Requirements
* A Level 8 degree in an Engineering or Science discipline is required.
* 4 years relevant experience in a team-based regulated manufacturing environment, ideally with previous supervisory experience.
* Good knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements and current Health and Safety Regulations legislation.
* Proven experience practicing Lean tools and business understanding of operations and their impacts essential.
* High level of PC skills, strong project management skills, and flexibility essential.
