We are seeking experienced retail or craft Butchers who are passionate about delivering quality products and building rapport with customers, as well as upselling products in a customer-facing environment.
Our client offers a competitive salary from €16.00 - €18.00 per hour DOE plus benefits.

The ideal candidate:
Previous experience as a butcher in a retail environment is essential
Outstanding customer service skills with a confident and outgoing personality
Motivated with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
In-depth knowledge of HACCP
Flexible to work early mornings, occasional late evenings, and weekends
Responsibilities:
Receiving and inspecting carcasses or cuts of meat, determining butchering methods, and preparing meat according to customer orders and standards
Assisting customers in selecting cuts, providing cooking advice, and answering questions about different types of meat
Maintaining hygiene standards, proper storage, and handling of meat, and cleaning equipment and work areas regularly in compliance with health regulations
Weighing, pricing, and packaging meat products for sale or display
Providing excellent customer service, sharing product knowledge, and upselling
