About the Role:
This role requires an experienced midwife to work as part of a senior management team in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring home birth services, ensuring effective communication with expectant women and other healthcare professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and monitor home births, including risk assessment and approval.
• Develop community midwifery-led services within the hospital.
• Coordinate HSE Home Birth Service integration into supported care pathways.
Purpose of Post:
This position is crucial for developing community services that benefit mothers-to-be who prefer giving birth at home rather than in hospitals. As such it's expected you'll possess broad knowledge on perinatal health quality assurance processes while focusing heavily also upon leadership responsibilities across various departments mainly day -to-relationship centres often prompting maternal/prenatality primary prevention strategies improving advanced practices built around small scale studies accompanied via public policy recommendations leading outputs.
