About Our Team:
* We provide technical expertise and solutions for projects across Europe, the Middle East and Africa in areas such as Flood Risk Management, Hydraulic Modelling and Design, Sustainable Drainage Systems and Water Sensitive Urban Design, Mains Infrastructure Design and Non-Infrastructure Design.
* Our Civil Engineering graduates gain valuable experience working on global projects alongside various disciplines.
You will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of many elements within the water industry, including hydraulic, structural and environmental design through calculations, report writing and the use of engineering software.
Responsibilities include:
* Undertaking numerical analysis using computer-based programmes to assist with the study of potable, surface and wastewater systems.
* Undertaking technical and feasibility studies to appraise alternative solutions in aspects such as potable water, foul water, surface water and attenuation requirements.
* Performing structural analysis and design, including calculation and use of analysis software.
* Producing designs of water infrastructure, including pump systems and pipe networks with attenuation to safety in design.
* Producing sketches, checking and consolidating final working drawings created by Technicians.
* Staying up-to-date with developments in regulatory legislation and guidelines affecting design work.
* Working with other team members to undertake technical work, site work and project management.

Requirements:
* BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification or equivalent.
* MEng in Civil, Structural or a Water Engineering related MSc would be an advantage.
* Water-related modules or relevant work experience would be beneficial.
* Basic computer skills essential, good report writing skills beneficial.
* Demonstrable interest in water projects.
* Able to satisfy client and business expectations, consider wider financial and commercial implications.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
