Barden is proud to partner with a leading tech company in their search for a Senior Software Engineer for their Dublin-based team.
This is a contract role running until the end of the year (around 7-8 months), with the possibility of extension.
You'll be working in a fast-paced product engineering environment, with a focus on frontend development within a full-stack role. If you’re passionate about building user-centric features, leading technical discussions, and collaborating with talented teams around the world, this could be an exciting next step for you.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
You’ll be focused on:
* Leading the frontend design and development of a customer-facing web application
* Writing full-stack code as needed, including backend development in PHP and Java
* Prototyping, optimising, and launching new product features
* Running A/B experiments to drive data-informed decisions
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams across design, product, and engineering
* Identifying opportunities to reduce tech debt and improve overall system performance
ABOUT THE PERSON:
* 10+ years of experience in Software Development
* A strong full-stack foundation, including backend work in PHP or Java
* A user- and product-focused mindset, with a data-driven approach to development
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially within distributed teams
* A track record of successfully leading projects and mentoring other engineers
* A pragmatic, proactive approach to technical challenges, with a focus on clean, maintainable solutions
