Indian Cuisine Chef Opportunity
We are recruiting an experienced and skilled Chef De Partie to join our team. As a vital role in the kitchen, you will be responsible for managing your work station, reporting to the Head Chef or Sous Chef, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, fresh food.
Key Responsibilities:
* Food Station Preparation: You will be in charge of preparing and purchasing storage of food goods for your station.
* Menu Planning and Recipe Creation: Assist the Head Chef in writing menus and creating new recipes that showcase our expertise in Indian cuisine.
* Customer Requirements: Meet customer expectations by producing high-quality food, performing effective food preparation, assisting with cooking, and ensuring all dishes are prepared within time.
* Kitchen Management: Monitor and record HACCP and food safety compliance, ensure presentation standards are met, minimize wastage, control portion planning, and maintain kitchen equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a Chef De Partie in a reputable Indian restaurant.
* Credentials: Professional qualifications would be advantageous.
* Fresh Food Expertise: Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine, food safety, hygiene, and HACCP practices.
* Communication Skills: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, flexible availability for weekends, and excellent self-presentation skills.
