Account Manager CREGG are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our client, a wholesale and distribution company headquartered in Cork. This full-time role, working remotely while also being on the road, out meeting with new and existing clients. The Account Manager will be responsible for delivering on strategic business and operational plans, driving sales and customer loyalty, supporting retail partners, and championing best-in-class standards and innovative practices. Key Responsibilities: Deliver sales budgets and drive revenue growth across all channels. Achieve loyalty targets and boost promotional sales at store level. Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, offering support and guidance. Coach retail partners to uphold best practices and ensure compliance with legal and market standards. Conduct regular store visits and audits to maintain exceptional standards and implement marketing materials. Increase retail sales and commercial performance through best practices and local supplier collaboration. Advise on margin management and optimise product ranges to grow sales. Execute in-store activities and marketing initiatives, ensuring brand guidelines are followed. Provide weekly reporting on sales, development plans, performance, and competitor activity. Support new business development and contribute to growth in new store openings. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum 3 years previous Account Management or Business Development experience A demonstrated high-level understanding of the FMCG business environment, preferably in the grocery sector. Results & KPI driven Effective sales and margin management experience Understanding of the legislative requirements around H&S, Food Safety and HR from a retail perspective Proven ability to maximise all commercial opportunities Strong people management skills are essential, with a proven ability to collaborate with strong communication, influencing, and negotiating skills.
