Associate Civil Structural Engineer
A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Engineer to join a rapidly growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Galway City.
Job Description
* Lead the planning, design, and management of construction projects from inception to completion.
* Conduct feasibility studies and technical investigations of sites to determine project viability.
* Risk and Environmental Impact Assessment to ensure site compliance with legal, health, and safety recommendations.
* Oversee site operations, ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
* Determine project requirements through discussions with architects, clients, and other stakeholders.
* Manage and direct a team of engineers and designers to achieve project goals.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
* At least 10 years of experience in a design office, working on medium to large-scale residential and commercial projects.
* Proficiency in REVIT/BIM software.
* A successful track record of collaborating with clients and contractors.
* Possession of a full driving licence for occasional site visits.
* Prior Irish experience is essential for this role.
* Civil engineering expertise, particularly in drainage, traffic engineering, and siteworks, is highly desirable.
