Flannerys Hotel, a 134-bedroom hotel, is recruiting for a Hotel Receptionist to join our professional, customer-focused front office team. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth operational running of the Front Office, maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional customer service to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide guests with a warm, friendly, and courteous welcome on arrival and throughout their stay.
* Liaise with reservations regarding future bookings, business clients, and revenue management.
* Prepare for guest arrivals with advance bookings and ensure accurate check-in procedures.
* Process all front office cash and credit card transactions in accordance with company policies.
* Be knowledgeable about products and services to inform and assist guests.
* Address and log all guest complaints immediately, escalating to the Duty Manager as necessary.
* Promote products and services to guests at appropriate times.
* Handle reservation inquiries professionally.
* Operate the switchboard, manage incoming calls, and transfer calls accurately.
* Monitor and respond to guest emails and messages during shifts.
Skills:
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Previous hotel reception experience is advantageous.
* Experience with Hotsoft or Opera PMS is a plus.
Salary: Based on previous experience, starting from €13.50 per hour.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
