Job Summary:
The Senior Data Analyst will be part of a high-performing data and analytics team responsible for defining and developing metrics, data models, and reporting frameworks. Focused on Finance, the analyst will create visualizations, track KPIs, and build custom reports for treasury stakeholders, automating tasks to improve processes and maintaining documentation.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Build and improve data models, quality, and reporting solutions.
* Create visualizations to highlight key information and support decision-making.
* Track KPIs to monitor treasury effectiveness and identify improvements.
* Develop custom reports for treasury processes, including requirement gathering, scoping, testing, and delivery.
* Maintain internal and external reports, ensuring brand consistency.
* Automate tasks and develop best practices to increase efficiency.
* Document data processes and methodologies clearly for future reference.
* Ensure data architecture can scale and adapt over time.
Key Interactions:
* Collaborate across departments to identify data sources and ensure data integrity.
* Notify data owners of quality issues and track remediation.
* Share redundant data findings to improve data reliability.
* Work with IT Data and Technical teams to execute reporting and data strategies.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
Basic Qualifications:
* Undergraduate degree or diploma.
* Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
* Expertise with Alteryx or similar tools.
* Advanced coding skills in Python, R, SQL, Power Query, DAX.
* Proficiency with Snowflake and relational databases.
* Strong MS Office skills.
* 6-10 years experience in reporting, analytics, and data analysis.
Desired Characteristics:
* Knowledge of data visualization tools, especially Power BI.
* Interest in AI and machine learning for data analysis.
* Effective communication across organizational levels.
* Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
