Design Build Search is seeking aProject Manageron behalf of our client to oversee the delivery of engineering projects across waste management, recycling, and agricultural waste processing facilities.The successful candidate will manage projects from design through installation and commissioning, working closely with engineering teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.This is a mobile role suited to a hands-on, practical project manager with strong mechanical and process engineering exposure.Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering projects from concept to completionDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plansMonitor progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and changesEnsure all projects are delivered in line with contractual, technical, and safety requirementsManage projects involving: Waste management and recycling systems, Plastic recycling processes, Production line systems including conveyors, shredders, wash plantsAgricultural and animal-derived (AD) waste processing systemsLiaise with design engineers, fabrication teams, and installation crewsReview technical drawings, specifications, and method statementsAct as the main point of contact between clients, contractors, and internal teamsAttend site meetings, inspections, and commissioning activitiesRequirements:Proven experience as a Project Manager in an engineering or industrial environmentEngineering qualification (Mechanical, Process, or similar)Strong background in waste management, recycling, or production line engineeringExperience working with mechanical systems such as conveyors, shredders, and processing plantsAbility to manage multiple projects across different locationsStrong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel regularly (1–2 days per week)Hands-on and practical approach to project deliverySelf-motivated and comfortable working independentlyBenefitsCompany-provided transportCompetitive salary (DOE)Opportunity to work on innovative and sustainability-focused engineering projectsLong-term career progression within a growing engineering operation
