Senior Quantity Surveyor - PQS
Job Summary
We are seeking a professionally qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in project co-ordination to join our team at Jobcontax.
Job Description
The successful candidate will have experience of the full range of quantity surveying services and be confident in dealing with clients face-to-face.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and chair site meetings through to project delivery on a wide range of prestigious projects.
* Preparation of cost plans/ budget estimates.
* Value engineering (identifying risks and opportunities).
* Preparation of Bills of Quantities.
* Tender review and evaluation.
* Assessing Interim valuation payments.
* Negotiating and agreeing variations.
* Cost Reporting.
* Final account settlement.
* Reporting to key stakeholders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* * A BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying with 5+ years experience with min 3 years working with PQS companies.
* * Professional membership to SCSI or RICS.
* * Good communication and presentation skills.
* * Computer literate with skills in MS office.
Packages
The salary is €65 - €75K with additional benefits and bonus depending on level of experience and qualifications.
This is a permanent staff role with a clear career path to advance to Associate and Director level for the right candidate.
Work from home arrangements (3 office/ 2 home) are available, along with paid annual institute membership subscriptions and 21 days annual leave.
