Are you a seasoned finance professional ready to take ownership of a full accounting function and play a pivotal role in senior management? An established and growing international company is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its leadership team. This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to work across multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts. Ensure accurate internal and external financial reporting across multiple entities. Manage intercompany transactions and be the primary contact for external auditors and tax authorities. Oversee payroll processes for domestic and international entities. Ensure compliance with VAT, RCT/CIS, VIES, and payroll regulations across Ireland, the UK, and the Netherlands. Collaborate with commercial teams to process monthly construction contract invoices and track work-in-progress. Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely client payments. Act as a key liaison for internal stakeholders, insurance providers, and compliance agencies. Supervise and mentor a trainee accountant. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5-7+ years post-qualification experience. Strong background in financial reporting, auditing, and compliance. Experience in public accounting is desirable but not essential. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cloud-based accounting systems. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Key Competencies: Effective team leader and motivator.
