We are a contemporary boutique artisan food production and catering company looking for a Pastry Chef to join our team.
We have developed a premium range of handmade meals and baked goods that are supplied to retail and direct to consumers.
You must be flexible and energetic.
The hours of work will generally be ***** hours, working 3/4 days over 7, however these hours may vary subject to the demands of the business.
You may be needed for occasional events and all weddings.

The ideal candidate will have:
A relevant formal chef qualification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in pastry.
Must love baking cakes, cookies and tray bakes.
Successful candidate must love desserts, have a passion for ingredients and product development.
Must be flexible and willing to cross train and jump into other sections when required.
Can-do attitude and ability to take initiative and self-motivate.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Organized and comfortable working under pressure.
Creative and motivated.
Close attention to detail and presentation.
HACCP trained.
Must have a full, clean Irish/EU driving license – preferable but not essential.
Duties Include
Follow recipes and presentation as per brand specifications.
Work to a high standard in line with HACCP and H&S.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness in kitchen which includes kitchen equipment.
Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment.
Restock items and order with approved suppliers.
Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards.
Excellent time-keeping.
Must be able to meet the changing demands of the business.
Liaise between kitchen, office and QA.
