The Role: Seabridge have a vacancy for a Transport Co-ordinator based at our Belfast branch. Reporting to the General Manager. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Proof of Delivery scanning. Preparation of Export Documentation and final manifests-including Dangerous Goods Notifications (DGNs) for onforwarding to shipping lines. Plan, direct and control all UK import activities on a day-to-day basis, including booking onto the Azyra freight system, obtaining all paperwork to meet customs requirements and ensure customers transit times are met. Maintain all files ensuring they are costed and invoiced prior to export, delivery or release. Provide transport companies with the relevant information to ensure customer collection / delivery requirements are met. Develop constructive relationships with key customers, understanding the clients business and meeting their shipping needs. Identify and provide early warning to the manager on any issues and problems that could have an adverse effect on deadlines. Promote and maintain image, procedures and standards as set and with management. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of logistics documentation. Maintain and update internal systems to support the movement of goods. Action other ad hoc duties as requested by manager. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 12 months experience in groupage shipping is preferable. Experience in the completion of Dangerous Goods Documentation and past experience of dealing with Hazardous Consignments would be of benefit. Good knowledge and experience of exports and customs procedures would be beneficial. Able to work toward and meet deadlines. Computer literate. Possess team player qualities. Ability to plan.
