Reporting to the Head of Placements for Generation UK & Ireland, this is a role that would suit someone who is passionate about supporting people of all ages from diverse backgrounds into employment and able to inspire the same passion in Employers.
The opportunity also involves hands-on recruitment processing, relationship management, so it's a great opportunity to build a wealth of knowledge of understanding organisations across the UK.Your key focus will be to enable our learners secure employment through Generation sourced vacancies and self apply opportunities.
This you will do by having a good understanding of the role requirements of our employer partners and matching the requirements with the relevant talent from our cohorts.
In this process you will work with our Senior Strategic Account Manager to develop a long-lasting relationship with our Employers and ensure that Generation UK & I embed our offer with the Employer and become their preferred Talent sourcing partner. You will also have the incredible opportunity to inspire people to achieve life-changing careers by supporting them to connect with self sourced employers, prepare for interviews and onboard into new roles.RESPONSIBILITIES & TARGETSTARGETS WITHIN ROLEAs Placement Manager you will be measured against Key Performance Indicators which are outlined below Placement Target - To place Generation grads into work through both self placement and Gen sourced Vacancies Conversion Target - to successfully fill Generation sourced vacancies RequirementsMain areas of responsibility:1.
Graduate management Provide high-quality career advice, 1-2-1 and via workshops.
Managing and maintaining high levels of Engagement of the bench Understand the skill set and job preferences of graduates to successfully match them to available opportunities Support Strategic Account Managers in running events which connect employers to our grads Prepare learners for the opportunities that have been matched to by ensuring Learners have the relevant information and support.
At times deliver mock interviews and feedback for development and growth Promote job opportunities via Microsoft Teams Track job retainment and capturing success stories Offer pastoral support for graduates 2.
Account Management & growth Upon graduation of each cohort, manage employers to ensure there is a robust interview and feedback mechanism in place. Support with funding requirements by tracking Interviews, placements and securing evidence from grads and employers.
Be the point of escalation for any issues the employer raises, or any issues the cohorts are experiencing with regards to interviews / placements.
Organise and collect employer feedback, case studies and interviews.
Secure ongoing commitment from existing employers by successfully converting vacancies to hires, in line with targets. 3.
Contribute to the wider success and growth of Generation in Ireland Track job placements against targets and implement process improvements to enhance placement outcomes. Attend key events and represent Generations Interests when dealing with Key Stakeholders Contribute to the ongoing development and account management processes.
Help develop Generation's understanding of the needs and attributes of Employers you work with and feed this back to internal teams as appropriate. Contribute to the development of ROI frameworks, tools and data collection processes for existing and new job roles and oversee any necessary data collection process involving employers.

Record all concerns in the Safeguarding log as per Safeguarding Policy EXPERIENCEWe think you'll need the following experience in order to succeed in the role: Recruitment background- in particular experience screening and evaluating candidates is essential.
Experience with a recruitment agency is desirable, though not essential. The ability to communicate to a broad mix of stakeholders.
If you have had some experience in building relationships with clients in a recruitment setting, it's an advantage.
Managing senior stakeholder relationships.
You will be connecting regularly with heads of departments.
The ability to connect with and inspire young people. You will regularly connect with young jobseekers and support them to achieve their career goals. Experience of Safeguarding and knowing when to report a concern Exposure to working in a fast-paced start-up or entrepreneurial environment, as well as some evidence of having worked independently.

You will organise your workflows to get the best results, collaborating with others and leading projects where necessary.
Time management: You know how to structure your time across placement of Learners from different cohorts. A hands-on, "roll up the sleeves," action-oriented approach.
