Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. This role will involve traveling to customer sites to service, install and provide training on industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform start-up, installation and operator training for installations of industrial equipment.
* Troubleshoot (remotely or onsite) installed equipment to identify and correct technical problems.
* Develop positive customer relationships and schedule service trips amongst global teams.
* Prepare accurate and timely service call and expense reports.
* Conduct formal training classes with customers and develop electrical drawings and schematics as required.
Requirements:
* 1+ years experience in a field service role working on electromechanical equipment.
* Responsible professional with strong communication skills and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
* Experience using a structured support process and proven track record in producing relevant report material.
* Automation and controls experience, strong mechanical and/or CAD knowledge, electrical wiring knowledge and associated standards.
* Troubleshooting of electrical circuits, strong relationship management skills, excellent communicator both oral and in writing with commercial awareness.
* Has strong problem solving skills, works as a team player and always with integrity.
