As a Medical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering technical and clinical support in operating theatres. You will develop strong relationships with customers, providing onsite technical assistance and coordinating between customers and internal teams.
This is a field-based role that involves remote work and requires a flexible work schedule. You will have district coverage and work alongside an experienced team of Therapy Sales Specialists & Technical Consultants.
The key responsibilities include:
* Providing clinical and technical support to the clinical team in theatres for cranial & spine cases.
* Responsible for territory case coverage and support of intraoperative sales.
* Provides troubleshooting support to field sales force and customers.
* Participates in the development of employee and customer training/education programs.
* Ensures inventory is maintained at its optimal level as per guidelines.
You will also participate in and support regional events such as Congresses or Customer Events. A degree in Engineering, Radiography, Life-science, Business, Biology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or another relevant advanced degree is required. Experience in the medical device industry or in a hospital operating room environment is highly desirable.
A flexible work schedule, travel, and weekend support are required. New engineering graduates may also be considered for this role. A keen interest in technology and spinal/orthopaedic or cranial knowledge are desirable skills. Previous medical device training/education experience is also beneficial.

* Supports marketing and sales in the introduction and market release of new products.
* Lead generation for new sales and Large Capital equipment support / break fix.
Requirements
* ·Degree in Engineering, Radiography, Life-science, Business, Biology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or another relevant, advanced degree.
* ·Experience in the medical (device) industry or in a hospital operating room environment.
* ·Ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales team, physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.
* ·Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team.
* ·Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, travel and weekend support are required.
