Hotel General Manager Role Overview
This exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a leading 4* hotel in Cork. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage outlets, events, and front-of-house activities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing busy food and beverage operations, with experience in conferences, weddings, and special events. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained across the hotel, as well as providing effective leadership and guidance to your team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage daily hotel operations, including food and beverage, rooms, and maintenance teams
* Lead and guide the team to continually improve service levels and procedures
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
* Provide mature leadership and facilitate a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Requirements:
* At least 3 years' experience in operations management or food and beverage director roles in a prominent 4/5* hotel
* Proven ability to manage high-pressure situations and lead a team effectively
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
