Senior Quantity Surveyor
to join its expanding commercial team.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the full commercial management of construction projects from pre-contract through to final account.
You will lead cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting, while mentoring junior team members and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of budgets, cost plans, and tender documentation
Oversee procurement strategies and manage subcontractor packages
Administer contracts, variations, and claims in line with best practice
Monitor and report on project financial performance and risk
Provide commercial input into project planning and delivery
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment
Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors within the team
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Minimum 7 years' experience in a QS role, with at least 3 years at senior level
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., RIAI, NEC, FIDIC)
Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and leadership skills
Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, Excel)
Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites
