We are seeking a motivated and skilled Practice Director to oversee the day-to-day operations, ensure the smooth running of our clinic, and support our staff in delivering exceptional service.ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the veterinary practice, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional client care.Manage the practice's financial performance, including budgeting, invoicing, and profitability.Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.Handle HR tasks including recruitment, training, and staff development.Foster a positive, collaborative work environment to promote high team morale.Manage inventory, ordering, and maintain supplies and equipment.Monitor client satisfaction and promptly address concerns.Work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement strategies for practice growth.What We're Looking ForExperience in a veterinary practice management role, or equivalent leadership experience in a healthcare setting.Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with financial acumen including budgeting and managing a P&L.Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to improve practice efficiency.Excellent communication skills to engage with both the team and clients.About City VetsWe're a well-established, respected companion animal hospital in the heart of Waterford.
