Job Title: Senior Hardware Test
This role involves taking ownership of test planning, execution and documentation for both new and existing hardware platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet high standards of quality, performance and safety.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of analogue/digital circuit design and debugging. Experience with lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers and power supplies is essential. Additionally, knowledge of test development for microcontroller-based systems and comfort working with schematics, layouts and hardware design documentation are required.
The position requires a background in regulated industries such as medical, automotive or aerospace. As a senior engineer, you will take full ownership of test planning, execution and documentation for both new and existing hardware platforms. You will also provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and technicians in the test team.
* Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline
* 5+ years' experience in hardware test/validation or electronics development
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive test plans for hardware validation
* Perform hands-on testing, fault-finding and root cause analysis on electronic assemblies
* Define test methodologies, fixtures and custom test setups
* Work closely with design and embedded teams
