Special Requirements:
Must have at least two year of general accounts preparation experience

With an impressive database of clients, DBASS has been providing quality chartered accountancy services for over 30 years.
Our offices are less than 10 minutes from M50 with a broad range of clients both in terms of audit, non-audit, sole trader etc. and in terms of industry/sector type.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of year end non-audit company accounts and working papers to review stage
Ability to reconcile balance sheet items including VAT, Payroll, leases, hire purchases and fixed assets
Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity of posting journals onto accounting software
Assist with the preparation of management accounts
Preparation of statutory financial statements in line with agreed deadlines, ability to follow checklists, procedures and process requirements
Assist with year-end close out and year end journals
Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
Liaising with clients – confident in dealing with clients over the phone and through written correspondence
Assisting manager on special client assignments
Candidate Qualities:
Minimum 2 plus years general accounting practice experience
Results orientated
Excellent technical abilities
Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role
Excellent communication and customer care skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Ability to work on own initiative
Technical Expertise:
CCH Accounts Production
Excel (Intermediate/Advanced preferable)
Surf, Xero and Sage Line 50 (most common client accounting system)
