As part of this expansion, they are appointing aSenior Mechanical Engineerto their team based inDundalk.About Your New JobAsSenior Mechanical Engineer, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of mechanical engineering projects from mobilisation through to commissioning and handover.You will coordinate design, procurement, commercial, and site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification. This role requires a strong technical background combined with excellent leadership and project management capability.What Skills You NeedAs the Senior Engineer you will:Manage mechanical projects from planning and design through installation, commissioning, and handover.Develop and control project programmes, budgets, and scopes of work.Provide technical oversight on mechanical system design, equipment selection, and layouts.Review and approve engineering drawings, technical submittals, and vendor documentation.Coordinate procurement activities including specifications, RFQs, tender reviews, and contract awards.Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party consultants, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and programme requirements.Chair project meetings, track progress, and resolve technical or delivery issues.Monitor costs, forecasts, and risks, implementing mitigation measures as required.What You Need to HaveDegree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, MEP equipment, and plant utilities.Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.What's on OfferA competitive salary, depending on experience, plus an attractive benefits package including:Competitive pension schemeLife assuranceHealth cash plan30 days annual leave (increasing with service)Ongoing training and career developmentIf you are an experienced Building Services Professional we would love to hear from you Please send your CV and a cover letter detailing your experience and suitability for this role to or call me on
