Explore a Career as an Applications Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Applications Scientist to join our team in developing cutting-edge microfluidic products for life sciences and diagnostics.

* This role provides the foundation for technical product development, working closely with senior colleagues.
* You will apply principles of cell biology, immunology, and pharmacology to develop and solve problems involving microfluidic product production and validation.
* Your focus areas include therapeutics such as cardiovascular, oncology, immunology, respiratory, and bacteriology.


About the Job:

* Develop applications for monoclonal antibodies, fusion process B cells, protein assays, testing, and microfluidic cards on biochips.
* Create new product applications and refine existing ones.
* Prepare customer case studies from experiments and demonstrations conducted on-site.
* Research literature to explore opportunities in new application areas.
* Plan and execute verification experiment procedures and protocols to identify product specifications.
* Produce application notes, protocols, and promotional materials with the marketing manager.
* Assist in equipment and product testing during development.
* Write and review reports, proposals, invention disclosures, patent applications, and scientific papers.
* Support producing technical data sheets for scientific and marketing publications.


Requirements:

* M.Sc or PhD in cell biology, immunology, pharmacology, or biotech/pharma/biomedical field with 4+ years of experience.
* Training in biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or biochemical sciences is advantageous.
* Experience in continuous flow assays is advantageous.
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with colleagues and external partners.
* Able to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate with others.
* Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
