OverviewJoin to apply for the Supervisor Engineering role at Dexcom.The Engineering Supervisor will provide technical leadership and support to equipment technicians across the shift. This role involves supervising shift technicians, managing equipment, and monitoring line performance through specific maintenance KPI’s. The position supports cross-functional departments as needed to maintain an optimal operations environment.Where You Come InSupervise and coordinate the activities of equipment technicians during the assigned shift, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Review Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities in Maximo as part of maintenance oversight.Delegate preventative maintenance tasks and oversee corrective maintenance activities.Review and approve technician time and attendance records as required.Supervise projects such as layout moves, equipment assembly, and validation report execution.Deliver monthly performance updates through one-on-one meetings with each technician.Coordinate or conduct technician training as needed to maintain skill levels and support development.Work closely alongside the Production Supervisor to ensure smooth and effective shift operations.Know when to step in and provide hands-on support, particularly in escalation scenarios or when critical decisions are required.Maintain and report on department metrics such as OEE, Yield and other related KPIs related to equipment performance and maintenance.Ensure full compliance with all safety procedures, including Dexcom’s Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) program and all other relevant safety protocols.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to sustain equipment and to support equipment deployment and improvement initiatives.Maintain accurate and up-to-date equipment documentation (manuals, drawings, specifications).What Makes You SuccessfulTypically requires a Level 7/8 qualification and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.Supervisory experience in a similar role is essential.Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical documents related to equipment specifications.Ability to write routine reports, shift reports and correspondence.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, engineers and managers.Knowledge and experience with PLC and automated production/process equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, electro/mechanical systems, resistance welders, and packaging equipment is highly desirable.Experience with process improvement projects (e.g., improving yields, reducing downtime).Proven ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing equipment and processes.Technical writing skills as applied to manufacturing documentation and process development; experience in creating and revising technical documentation.What You’ll GetA front row seat to life-changing CGM technology.A full and comprehensive benefits program.Growth opportunities on a global scale.Access to career development through in-house learning programs and/or qualified tuition reimbursement.An exciting and innovative, industry-leading organisation committed to our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.Travel Required: 10%
