Key Position Description
The Category Development Manager position involves formulating and executing annual Commercial Growth Strategies in collaboration with Brand Partners. This includes establishing KPI targets for sales teams, monitoring performance, and leading regular business and performance reviews.
* Develop and implement annual Commercial Growth Plans in conjunction with Brand Partners.
* Establish KPI targets for sales teams, track performance, and lead regular business and performance assessments.
* Conduct Category Growth Workshops and In-store Expeditions to identify new opportunities across existing and developing channels.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years' experience in sales, procurement, brand management, or a similar FMCG role within the Irish market. A solid understanding of Irish grocery retail and distributor dynamics is required. Exceptional commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking are essential. Highly analytical skills are necessary to interpret data and translate it into actionable commercial strategies. Results-driven with experience working cross-functionally to achieve shared objectives is also required.
