Role overview
As a Privacy Paralegal, you will provide essential support to Match Group's Data Protection Office and Privacy Team. You will help Match Group to comply with data subject rights requests, handle responses to regulators, and keep on top of emerging developments.
When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our Dublin office 3 days a week.
How you'll make an impact :You will prepare, review and summarise case files, collaborating with other teams to get appropriate information.
You will prepare draft responses to users exercising their data subject rights, complainants, and regulators.
You will manage and track complaints.
You will review news laws and regulations, and prepare briefings for the team.
You will support the Privacy Team in implementing Match Group's global privacy program.
We could be a match if :You have a law degree and/or a privacy certification (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM).
You have experience working in an office environment.
You are digitally literate, preferably with a proficiency in Google Workspace.
You are comfortable with and interested in applying AI tools in your everyday work, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Zoom AI Companion to automate repetitive tasks and improve output quality such as in drafting documents, generating structured outputs and improving workflows.
You have excellent legal drafting, research and organisational skills.
You have excellent business communication and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
You are a self-starter, capable of operating in a fast-paced environment.
You are committed to continuous learning and development.
