Supporting the practice accountants, you will be first point of contact with the practice clients and will offer support in VAT returns and payroll along with assisting in financial records, perform reconciliations and ensuring client compliance. This is a full-time position, based in Office in Tralee, County Kerry.Job Specification:Support senior accountants with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and accounts preparationMaintain accurate financial records using accounting softwareProcess invoices, bank reconciliations, and journal entriesAssist in preparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statementsCommunicate with clients regarding queries and required documentationEnsure compliance with HMRC regulations and internal proceduresMonitor and manage accounts payable and receivablePrepare and submit payroll information as requiredLiaise with colleagues and external stakeholders in a professional mannerMaintain confidentiality and data accuracy at all timesStrong attention to detail, time management, and organisation skills essentialQualifications and experience:Prior experience in a practice environment is essentialCPA/ACCA/ACA/AAT qualified or working towards a relevant accounting qualificationAbility to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word
