Job Description
A challenging role awaits an ambitious project engineer to shape site-wide automation and instrumentation strategy. Our Dublin facility, undergoing significant development, requires an expert in electrical and instrumentation engineering to drive high-impact E&I and Automation initiatives across the site.
* Delivering EI&A engineering expertise on new installations, upgrades, and automation projects.
* Developing URS and scope documents, supporting other engineering disciplines, and selecting suitable electrical and instrumentation equipment for ATEX and non-ATEX environments.
* Owning design reviews, risk assessments, and participating in HAZOPs to ensure safe and compliant execution.
Requirements
To succeed in this critical role, you must possess:
* A degree in Mechanical, Process, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
* 4+ years' experience delivering engineering projects in a manufacturing environment, with practical experience in ATEX environments.
* Strong capability in electrical design, motor/cable sizing, and protective device selection.
* Experience installing or commissioning DCS or SCADA control systems (Eurotherm advantageous).
* Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
* A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Teams, and general MS Office tools.
