You will provide support to subject matter experts, in delivering business-as-usual activities and strategy delivery changes. This position is a Level 3 - IT Support Engineer.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for BAU delivery of a rolling programme of change.Support with release management and testing of vulnerability patching.Support the broader Integrated IT Services including seamless provision of feeds and the provision of network models.Manage decision support tools for National Control Centre.Effective stakeholder management of both internal and external stakeholders (technical and non-technical) including key external vendors and internal service providers.Liaise on a cross-functional basis to support continuous improvement in information sharing, signal list quality and engineering standards.Participate in Disaster Recovery drills and contribute to EirGrid Group’s Business Continuity Management process. Participating in on call team when required.About YouRelevant IT or engineering degree with a minimum of 5+ year direct relevant experience.Experience of working in a secure IT environment and working on critical infrastructure.Analytical and problem-solving capability.Self-starter with the ability to operate with minimal supervision.Excellent organisation and time management skills.Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Effective communicator, both in verbal and written communications to business and technical audiences.Experience working with MS Office tools (including Excel skills, MS Project and Visio or equivalent).Closing date for applications27/03/2026Please note we receive a high volume of applications, and as every application is carefully reviewed our response time may vary.
