Avoca Stock Assistant
Avoca operates in 13 Store locations, Central Bakery & Kitchen, Central Stores, and Weaving Production Mill across Ireland. The ethos of Avoca remains the same: cherishing long-standing traditions passed down through generations, including third-generation weavers at the Mill. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Stockroom Assistant at our Avoca Kildare Village store.
Description of the role:
This is a full-time, permanent position, reporting to the General Manager at Kildare Village, with an immediate start. The pay rate depends on experience.
Responsibilities:
* Stock control using the EPOS system
* Conducting stock counts
* Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager
* Managing goods inwards and outwards
* Maintaining a clean and organized stock room
* Stock rotation and date checks
Requirements:
* Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
* Excellent timekeeping
* Effective teamwork and communication skills
* Experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
* Experience in cycle counting and full stock takes
* Manual handling knowledge or experience (desirable)
* Attention to detail and accuracy, maintaining high service standards
* Experience with Goods Inwards & Outwards
* Knowledge of Meridian EPOS system (preferable)
