**Job Title:** Inventory Manager
Job Description
Tirlán, a world-class food and nutrition co-operative, is seeking an experienced inventory manager to join its team. We nurture a talented workforce across Ireland, the US, MEA, and China.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising the efficiency of a defined cluster of third-party warehouses. This role will provide a primary point of contact between the individual warehouse and the business, allowing for a focus on strategic placement of product, cost monitoring, and performance improvement.
* Oversee agreed periodic stock reconciliations with each warehouse, aligning with business requirements and underpinned with documented processes.
* Own and understand the monthly financial performance of all warehouse activity.
* Ownership of the complaints process, including review and acceptance procedures, accountability, corrective actions, and timelines.
* Chair periodic performance reviews with each warehouse.
* Develop and implement warehouse strategy alongside the Fulfilment and Warehousing management team.
* Support and drive development of the Monthly S&OP forecast review.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent qualification.
* At least 5 years' experience in the area of logistics & Supply Chain.
* A strong aptitude for Logistics IT systems and innovation of intuitive user interfaces.
* Strong analytical and structured approach to problem solving.
* Excellent verbal and written reporting skills.
* Controlling large volumes of initiatives under a program of work to a successful conclusion.
* Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Results-driven, performance capability in a fast-moving business environment.
* Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, and a working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP process.
* Organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work well both as part of a team or independently.
