About Us
ProKulture Organic Kombucha is an award-winning Irish drinks company producing high-quality, clean-label kombucha with a commitment to excellence, sustainability, and great taste. We're a small, passionate team making big moves in the functional drinks space — and we're looking for our next team member to join us on the journey.
The Role
We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Trainee Brewer to join our production team. This is a practical, varied role for someone who enjoys working in a small, fast-paced production environment and is keen to learn the ropes of commercial brewing and packaging.
You'll start by supporting day-to-day operations — making boxes, cleaning, preparing orders, and assisting with production — and, with training, progress to more technical brewery tasks like tank cleaning (CIP), brewing, carbonation, and packaging.
What You'll Do
* Assist with general warehouse and brewery duties (GMP cleaning, preparing packaging, order picking)
* Help with CIP (Clean-In-Place) of tanks, brewhouse, and plate heat exchanger (full training provided)
* Support weekly maintenance of the bottling machine
* Assist in brewing, fermenting, and flavouring kombucha
* Help with carbonation & packaging into bottles and kegs
* Complete production paperwork and quality sign-offs
* Follow instructions from the Head Brewer & Assistant Brewer and work as part of a small, close-knit team
What We're Looking For
* A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
* Good attention to detail and pride in doing things right
* Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
* Able to follow processes, take direction, and work in a clean, safe manner
* Punctual, reliable, and ready to get stuck in
What We Offer
* Full on-the-job training in brewery operations
* The chance to learn kombucha brewing from an experienced team
* A friendly, supportive work environment where your contribution is valued
* Career progression opportunities as the business grows
* Staff discount on all ProKulture products
Hours & Pay
