We are creating a global asset verification platform that allows auditors to deliver higher quality financial audits and spend more time helping businesses to create greater value for all economic stakeholders. Our current customer base includes big four accountancy firms as well as global banks.
At Circit, we have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Associate API Product Manager with previous Saas experience, to help us build out the first global bank connectivity platform for auditors and other professional services firms. This role will suit a motivated and ambitious individual, who is looking to make a big impact. You will work in cross functionally with the Product, Technology, Marketing and Sales teams.
Requirements
As an Associate Product Manager - API, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our bank integration projects. You'll work closely with engineering, business development, partnerships, and external partners (primarily banks) to define and deliver scalable API based solutions that enable secure data consolidation. You'll be responsible for identifying customer needs, translating partner requirements, and delivering API solutions that are easy to consume and maintain. Responsibilities include:
* Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for bank API integrations.
* Triage, diagnose & lead the resolution of issues that emerge with our broad coverage of banking APIs.
* Lead discovery with banks and financial institutions to understand API offerings, authentication models, and data structures.
* Partner with our business development & partnerships teams to evaluate and onboard new banking partners.
* Translate customer needs and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product requirements.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to design, implement, and improve API interfaces and data ingestion pipelines.
* Develop API documentation, usage guidelines, and partner onboarding materials.
* Define KPIs and track the performance and reliability of banking integrations.
* Maintain a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape & protocols (e.g., PSD2, Open Banking, etc.) and its impact on our product.
Candidate Requirements
You must have a dynamic approach to work, be capable of shifting gears and want to work in a high growth, entrepreneurial business. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years' of Product management experience with prior exposure to APIs within the financial services industry.
You should be:
* Experienced working with banking, financial data, or regulated data environments.
* Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and related technologies.
* Ability to flex between speaking with highly technical audiences as well as partners focused on business value
* Experienced working cross-functionally with engineering, partnerships, compliance, and design teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have:
* Experience with Open Banking frameworks or integrations with core banking systems.
* Background in software engineering or technical architecture is a plus.
* Experience in a B2B SaaS environment serving financial services clients.
