Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Staff Nurse to join our Inpatient Ward on a fixed-term basis. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the pre-operative and post-operative periods.
Job Responsibilities
* To participate in the delivery of care within the clinic, ensuring that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies as a skilled member of the In-Patient Ward nursing team.
* To liaise with nursing staff to ensure adequate provision of cover when required, promoting healthy working relationships and demonstrating behaviour consistent with the values of the clinic.
* The person chosen will be accountable for the nursing service provided to patients, including making provisions for the best possible standard of nursing care at all times, assessment of patient care needs, communication with relatives and visitors as required, setting and monitoring standards.
Professional Requirements
1. Code Compliance: Practice within An Bord Altranais guidelines and comply with Policies & Procedures set out by Sports Surgery Clinic. Ensure each patient is treated as an individual respecting their physical well-being & religious beliefs while providing direct nurse-patient interaction. • Give appropriate guidance to Nursing Personnel through professional development/audit process and “contribute” improvement actions following HPI reports."
