Early years educator/ room assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced childcare assistant to join our team.
Must be positive, kind, and child centred educator with experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. To provide quality early childhood care and education to children
2. To, guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment.
3. To assist the room leader, and work in close co-operation with the Manager and the other team members.
4. To act, if required, as a key worker to specified children
5. Ensure the safety, security and wellbeing of all children in your care
6. To assist in the planning and implementation of an age appropriate stimulating programme of activities which will enhance the childs natural growth and development.
7. To ensure all quality and safety standards are maintained in the service always.
8. To ensure hygiene and cleaning standards are met and implemented in the service daily.
The successful candidate must have
Minimum of QQI level 5 in early years.
Ability to work as part of a team
Experience within a early years setting
Knowledge of Early Years Regulations, Aistear and Siolta
First Aid training, Manual handling, Fire safety and Children First would be an advantage but not necessasry as training will be provided
Hours
Monday to Friday 8 13:00 term time, ( hours may be Increased)

depending on experience and qualification
