There is a role for everyone who wants to be part of the innovative solutions at Natus Neuro.The Senior Sustaining and Maintenance Engineer will lead product sustaining engineering and continuous improvement efforts. In this role, you will evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement projects and lead multiple projects to drive cost saving initiatives and product improvements. Manage and execute design changes, including design transfers for NPIs. Including but not limited to evaluating reliability of materials, properties and techniques used in production. They will also plan, designs and develop for mechanical parts, mechanical systems, equipment and packaging systems. This role will provide technical leadership to support resolving product and manufacturing site issues. The successful candidate must be highly organized with prior experience in manufacturing sustaining roles including cross-discipline knowledge of mechanical and test engineering They will be required to use these strengths to help drive issue resolution in collaboration with cross-function teams.

The individual is capable of managing multiple components of large projects, balancing time and resources to meet deadlines, and ensuring alignment with quality and cost objectives.

Provide engineering support for product compliance and safety (,ISO 10993, IEC 60601, REACH, ROHS, CE, etc.), source and work with labs on assessing testing required to meet product and regulatory requirements. Support change management across Natus Neuro's product lines, including drafting and coordinating the implementation of Engineering Change Orders.Support the design and testing of new products via effective Design for Manufacturing feedback.Create and/or update technical drawings as required for example CAD, SolidWorks.Ability to work with electronics, PCs and operating systems (understanding and proficiency), and MS Office applications including MS Project.Ability to read schematics and other electrical/electronic engineering documentation.
Experience Required:
Individuals at this level are fully proficient in most functional tasks and bring strong technical or professional knowledge to their role. Typically requiring 5+ years of experience in the field.Capable of handling complex assignments, managing larger projects, and providing technical guidance to peers. Experience should demonstrate problem-solving, collaboration, and the ability to document and present complex information clearly.Proven clear and distinct project management skills to ensure milestones are met. Experience in interpreting new and newly revised standards as they apply to products. Experience in applying statistical analysis.
